Terms of Service

Welcome to Glitch Cafe ("we", "our", "the App"). By using our mobile app, website (glitchcafe.net), or any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if a minor)
• Have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
• Will provide accurate information (phone number, name, car plate)
• Will not misuse the App for fraudulent or illegal purposes

2. Services Provided

Glitch Cafe operates 19 specialty coffee branches across the UAE and offers:

• Online ordering via mobile/web app
• Drive-thru pickup with license plate identification
• Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and gift card payments
• Loyalty rewards program (Bronze → Platinum tiers)
• Order tracking and status notifications

3. Orders & Payment

• All prices are in UAE Dirham (AED) and include 5% VAT.
• Orders are confirmed only after successful payment.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Glitch Cafe Gift Cards.
• Once an order is confirmed and being prepared, it cannot be cancelled.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

• Before staff confirms the order — full refund available.
• After preparation starts — generally no refund, unless we made an error.
• Quality issues — contact staff at pickup or email info@glitchcafe.ae within 24 hours for resolution.
• Failed deliveries (no-show after 30 min) — order is marked completed; no refund.
• Gift card balance — non-refundable in cash, but never expires.

5. Loyalty Program

• Earn 1 stamp per coffee drink ordered.
• Stamps for free drink: Bronze=9, Silver=8, Gold=7, Platinum=6.
• Tier upgrades automatic when you reach spending threshold.
• If inactive for 30 days, you drop one tier (anti-abuse measure).
• Stamps and tier benefits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• We reserve the right to modify the loyalty program with notice.

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use false phone numbers or impersonate others
• Attempt to exploit bugs, coupons, or loyalty stamps
• Resell our products or use the App for commercial purposes
• Disrupt our services (DDoS, scraping, automation, fake orders)
• Use offensive language with staff (chat or in-person)

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including text, graphics, logo, photos, and code — is owned by Glitch Cafe or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days before the claim.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service; the App is provided "as is".
• We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services (network, payment providers, etc.).

You may delete your account at any time via the App or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Abu Dhabi. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
